The Squid Drift - Edmonds Puget Sound Charter Experience
Skip the crowded piers and discover the fun of squid fishing from the comfort on the water with Tengu Charters.
This 4-hour trip takes you near the famous Edmonds Pier, one of Washington’s most productive squid areas. As the light changes, squid shift between deeper and shallower waters, creating exciting opportunities to target them in motion. The trip offers plenty of space, an easygoing pace, and a welcoming experience for all skill levels. Guests often return with fresh market squid that cook beautifully calamari style, known for their tender texture and subtle sweetness that capture the flavor of Puget Sound.
About
Everyone in your party will board the boat and get ready to head just a short distance from the Edmonds Marina into Puget Sound. Once Captain Kyle reaches the first fishing area, he’ll provide a brief tutorial on squid fishing and demonstrate how to jig and detect bites. Throughout the trip, he assists with line tangles, lure changes, and other adjustments to help improve your chances of success.
These outings are beginner-friendly, easygoing, and a great way to experience local squid fishing while enjoying views of Edmonds and the surrounding shoreline.
